We're the parents behind the field trips, the book fair and popcorn Fridays.

The Clark Elementary PTO raises money and rounds up volunteers for the things the school budget doesn't cover. Every family is welcome, and every dollar goes back to Clark.

What the PTO does

The school district pays for teachers, buildings and the basics. The PTO pays for the rest: the bus to the pumpkin patch, the new library books, the art supplies, the movie night popcorn.

  • We raise money through a few fundraisers a year, so no one has to sell anything door to door.
  • We put on events that bring families together, from movie night to the spring picnic.
  • We support teachers with classroom grants and a little appreciation when they need it most.

Where the money goes

Every dollar the PTO raises goes back to Clark students, teachers and families. This is what it pays for.

Field trips and buses

Admission and transportation so every class gets to go, whatever a family can pay.

Classroom supplies

Books, art materials, science kits and the small things teachers would otherwise buy themselves.

Teacher grants

Twice a year, teachers apply for funding for a project or program. The PTO votes on the requests at a meeting.

Family events

Movie night, the fall carnival, the spring picnic and the little extras that make them feel special.

Books and reading

New titles for the library and every classroom, plus the book fair and reading challenges.

An hour helps. So does a dollar.

You don't need to join a committee to be part of the PTO. Hand out water at the Fun Run, bake for the book fair, or give what you can. Whatever you have time for, it counts.
